**SureStream** is a high-availability live video solution that maintains operational visibility even during events that take all Milestone XProtect servers offline. Such incidents could be cybersecurity attacks, catastrophic data-center failures, or vanilla outages caused during software updates.

It embeds an **ONVIF-compliant video client directly inside the XProtect Smart Client**, enabling operators to stream video straight from cameras—completely bypassing Management, Recording, and Failover Services.
