# Move Recorders, Keep Footage

Move Recorders to other Management Servers, Retain Media

## Overview

This workflow simplifies transferring a recorder, its cameras, groups, views, and all media content to a different management server. All media existing before migration remains accessible to clients on the new server after the transfer.
