Overview

This workflow, when fully utilized, ensures simultaneous content portability between the old and new infrastructures, as well as across various versions and flavors of XProtect software. In a single automated step, it achieves what was previously a multi-step manual process.

For example, if you wanted to move your 2019 XProtect Prof+ with multiple recorders on outdated hardware to your 2025 XProtect Corp on the latest infrastructure, while also redistributing cameras, this workflow is for you. As of XPort Release 5.0, the workflow also supports media database migration.
