⚡High Availability Alarms
Leverage Redundant Event Pipelines
Overview
RMF Alarms are built to support high-availability event detection by gathering and processing events from multiple event pipelines. This delivers event server failover for supported event types. If one event pipeline can't generate an alarm due to a hardware issue or network interruption, the system still processes events from the backup pipeline and displays them as XProtect Alarms on the operator's dashboard. The service also filters out duplicate events, so only one alarm is generated when both event pipelines are working normally.

Installation
The RMF alarm functionality is deployed alongside other components, depending on the redundancy architecture in place. See the section: What to Install Where.
