Snapshot

With Release 7.5.0, the requirement to create a “special” RMF view in the Smart Client has been removed. RMF now runs in the background within the Smart Client and provides high availability to all native XProtect view windows displaying RMF-licensed cameras. All user-facing native smart client features are preserved.

Skip the steps below if you are using Release 7.5.0 or later.

The RMF view window offers a handy toolbar featuring snapshot functionality. Users can utilize it to take snapshots.

RMF plugin toolbar

Find the snapshot button in the RMF view toolbar. Click to save a snapshot.

Verify

A pop-up window appears with the location (path) where the snapshot is saved.
