Jun 2025

A sanity test was performed on XProtect Corporate 2024 R2. Uses MIP SDK 2023 R2.
Resolved an issue where profile creation was failing due to changes in ConfigAPI. Profile creation now works as expected with the updated API.
Smart Client now includes a new feature that lets users fine-tune PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) controls for each camera. These settings are automatically saved per camera, providing a convenient and personalized user experience.

SureStream 9.0.1 provides significant performance improvements in the number of live streams displayed in parallel layouts.
Improvements to the ping cameras in the background to prevent display freezing when cameras are down.
Support for checksums in the downloader to check for corruption during downloads.

Feb 2023

SureStream 8.0 introduces a wizard-based setup, making the configuration more user-friendly.
It supports camera mirroring and rotation.
Licensing is modified to consume one device license per MAC address, rather than one per stream.
The cameras added to Milestone parent and child sites can be fetched directly from the parent site without multiple logins.

Camera Rotation and Mirroring features have been implemented.
Set the PTZ Mirroring and PTZ Rotation options provided.
The user can adjust the orientation based on the stream received from the camera.

The license-expiry issue caused by one camera entering the grace period has been resolved.
HTTP port checking in the management client.

Support for direct camera-to-client unicast streaming is provided for networks that do not support multicast.
All Onvif cameras (including ones that don't support onvif multicast) are displayed in green colour in the Management client.
A toggle switch in the SureStream Smart Client toolbar switches the stream between Unicast and Multicast for cameras that support both Unicast and Multicast ONVIF streams.
