Software Components

The RMF comprises of the following software components.

The Vega RMF solution includes the The Vega RMF solution consists of three main components: Services, Configuration UI, and Client.

1. Services

   1. RMF Smart Sync Service - This service synchronizes control data, including devices, streams, roles, views, and groups, between data centers.

   2. RMF Alarm Service - This service leverages redundant event pipelines and provides high-availability alarms.

2. Configuration UI

   1. RMF Configurator -This user interface integrated into the Milestone Management client allows for the configuration of RMF settings, management of the Smart Sync Service, creation of RMF workflows, and execution of bulk password updates.

3. Client

   1. RMF Smart Client Component - This component leverages redundancy to ensure rapid recovery for both LIVE and Playback modes. Provides stream-level failover.
