Migrate Devices
Overview
The device migration step copies the chosen device objects from the source and deposits them at the destination. Most fine-grained settings (to the limit of MIP SDK support) are also automatically copied over.
Key Features
Select all devices, a subset, or none at all.
Redistribute source devices across destination recorders in any user-defined manner.
Pre-Requisites
The destination deployment must be able to communicate with the devices on the same IP address as the source.
The devices must be online during migration.
The device pack in the destination recorder must be more recent than the source.
