With active-active redundancy, when administrators add cameras to primary recorders, they must repeat the addition on the redundant recorders. The RMF Add Camera feature assists administrators by automating additions on one site when performed on the paired site.
In backup mode, this option automatically adds a camera to the secondary site when it is added to the primary site. In restore mode, a camera is automatically added to the primary site if added to the secondary site, provided that the backup mode server linking follows a one-to-one mapping.
Note: The cameras will be added only if enough licenses are available.
Click on Add.
Step Result: The Add Settings dialog box appears. The Add Camera toggle button is enabled by default.
Click the Save icon.
Click Save in the Milestone toolbar to save your changes.
