Delete Camera

Enable the Delete Camera option.

About

While using XProtect, administrators may delete cameras from primary or secondary sites. With Active-Active redundancy, such operations must be mirrored at the other site. This block automates such device deletion workflows, saving time and effort.

This option automatically removes RMF-licensed cameras from secondary servers when they are deleted from primary servers in backup mode. It also removes cameras from primary recorders when deleted from the corresponding secondary recorders in restore mode.

Enable

1. Click the Delete block.

Note: The RMF system must consume and manage at least one license. Otherwise, the following screen will appear.

Step Result: The Delete Settings dialog box appears.

1. Move the toggle button to enable and click the Save icon.
